Put the steps on the page

A single image can hold a whole instruction when the order is visible. Step numbers places numbered circles where the reader should look, in the order you add them.

The numbers follow the marks

A marker's number is its place among the step markers. Delete the first of three and the remaining two renumber automatically; undo restores the sequence. That keeps you from manually relabeling a screenshot after one correction.

Keep a sequence short

  1. Enable Step numbers on the Features page if it is hidden.
  2. Open Edit and place markers in reading order.
  3. Apply the marks and check that every number is visible at the final viewing size.
