See the colours that dominate

The colour palette is a quick read of the finished image: a small set of dominant colours, each with its share of the visible pixels and a hex value you can copy.

What the shares mean

ScrollSnapshot samples large images, groups nearby values, and ranks the resulting colours by share. A nearly solid screenshot may show one colour instead of padding the list with invented swatches. Transparent pixels are left out of the count.

Use it as a starting point

  1. Finish a capture and open its result page.
  2. Read the palette beneath the image.
  3. Click a swatch to copy its hex, then check a specific pixel with the picker if precision matters.
